Passages

It was a pleasure to attend today’s opening of ‘Passages’ at the Chandler Gallery of the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph, Vermont. I’ve contributed three pieces to this local show, and enjoyed seeing my work displayed along with that of many of my neighbors. The show will be open through June 16th – check it out!

As described by the gallery:

This open call exhibit features the work of diverse and talented artists working in all mediums from digital image making to traditional watercolors. Each artist responded to the universal theme of Passages and interpreted it with personal references and metaphors with creative and imaginative energy.

There are a variety of accomplished and respected artists like photographer Wink Willett, who has exhibited and taken photos around the world, as well as a newcomer Carolyn M. Zeglen who has never shared her work before and is inspired by the images in her immediate environment. This annual exhibit is a great opportunity to see a variety of mediums used in unique ways, such as the woodblock prints of water by Janet Cathey or the fluid watercolors of Kathrena Ravenhorst-Adams capturing the dappled light on trees.
