Winter turned out to be a very busy season for me – but not all of it ceramics-related. So as we move into spring, it’s a relief to be settling back into something resembling a steady work schedule and taking on some new projects.
Revisit the mums carvings? More detail!
Sculpture? Bigger seems possible!
Birds? So many new characters to try and capture!
Shapes? Where to even begin with shapes…
It’s always interesting to circle around to an idea that’s been developing over time, and not every piece works out as desired (surprise!) – but I’ve got the kiln firing again and am looking forward to some interesting, new pieces to enjoy and to inspire my next round of creation. Spring will bring it’s own inspirations. So – back to work!
