My studio time in 2017 ended with one last big project – a series of tiles made to order for a custom bathroom installation.
Another year has flown on by, and I’m closing out a jam-packed year of markets…shows…travel…markets…shows…with a last flurry of – holiday markets and shows!
This was a special year for bird watching in my own neighborhood, and I was inspired by the seabirds I saw while traveling.
November 8th has just been declared the Global Day of Clay, and I’m delighted to have my work included in a local Open Studio exhibition to mark this inaugural event that celebrates ceramics in all its forms.
Well that was fun! For a change of pace I scheduled a series of shows in coastal Maine this summer – apparently, I needed a breath of sea air.
The harbor backdrop was unbeatable and the weather spectacular (even in the fog!), making for a glorious weekend in Camden, Maine.
The Vermont Flower Show provided an early start to my 2017 show season – I usually keep myself working in the studio until the snow stops flying.
