My studio time in 2017 ended with one last big project – a series of tiles made to order for a custom bathroom installation.

The Birds of 2017
This was a special year for bird watching in my own neighborhood, and I was inspired by the seabirds I saw while traveling.

November 8th has just been declared the Global Day of Clay, and I’m delighted to have my work included in a local Open Studio exhibition to mark this inaugural event that celebrates ceramics in all its forms.
A Maine Summer
Well that was fun! For a change of pace I scheduled a series of shows in coastal Maine this summer – apparently, I needed a breath of sea air.
