My studio time in 2017 ended with one last big project – a series of tiles made to order for a custom bathroom installation.\u00a0 Fun?\u00a0 Mostly.\u00a0 Nerve-wracking?\u00a0 Always.\u00a0 Successful?\u00a0 Thankfully, yes.\u00a0 This project revisited some of my earliest designs and color combinations, taking motifs from plates and bowls I made years ago and making them much bigger.\u00a0 And flatter.<\/p>\n

It was so interesting going back to some of these designs that I might do a similar round of tableware in the near future.\u00a0 Thinking about it, anyway…<\/p>\n
