Being a lover of winter, I took advantage of a crisp and snowy January to trade some studio time for an outdoor break – but not for too long. I’m back to work!
In the Studio
My studio time in 2017 ended with one last big project – a series of tiles made to order for a custom bathroom installation.
This was a special year for bird watching in my own neighborhood, and I was inspired by the seabirds I saw while traveling.
Perhaps my most ambitious project of 2015 – a highly detailed, sculptural ‘Ocean Vessel’.
After months of planning and design, the project of the summer of 2014 was THE BACKSPLASH!
So how are those pieces made? I get that question rather a lot, and find that pictures are worth more than words in trying to explain.
My new project for the summer – wall tiles!
Vermont’s milkweed is blooming and it’s (finally) stopped raining – I’m on the lookout for the return of our monarch butterflies.
Inspired by one of my youngest friends and his love of blue turtles – it’s the kids’ collection!
